All Christians do! Now if only there wasn't the following problem with the trinity:
Those who think Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father, and the Holy Spirit are three roles describing one divine entity say:
"Jesus Christ is the only God. Your Heavenly Father is therefore an idol because there is no God beside Jesus."
What I want to say is what's written in 1 Corinthians 8:5-6 "For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him."
The concept of there being many gods is in reference to more than just false gods people worship. It's also in reference to the existence of many gods. And yet we need not to be concerned with other gods, for we do indeed only have one God. That is Heavenly Father, then there is his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, whom God has sent.
Consider Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."
Who do you think God was talking to? Other gods maybe? He did say, after all, "Let US make man in OUR image."
I don't know about you, but I am a little glad that OUR God has had a few friends up there in heaven before he created our bodies (or even our spirits). Just thought to get my two cents out there, in case anyone passing through this blog cares and remembers how to listen.
